BREAK THE SILENCE – Inpatient Safety/Suicide Prevention
Filed under Wickenburg Az · Tagged: BREAK, inpatient, prevention, Safety/Suicide, SILENCE
The Meadows of Wickenburg, Laureate, Menninger Clinic, The Dallas VA Hospital, the Bridgeway Hospital, and FL Hospital Behavioral Health are just a few of the hospitals across the country that have had inaptient suicides. At a rate of 1600 day/annually – that is 4 per day – why doesn’t the public know? It’s the secret that hospitals don’t want you to know about. And, via lawsuits and related confidentiality agreements, it remains that way: severely underreported to the general public. Watch this video and decide if this information and statistics are something that the public has a RIGHT to know, especially PRIOR to admitting themselves and/or a loved one into a hospital. @Karloffrules Have you ever lost anyone to suicide? No one that I work with …who have ALL lost loved ones in this manner…feel as you do. What type of music would be more appropriate? And, “head shots?” Sorry if they were all YOUNG and BEAUTIFUL and had their lives ahead of them. That’s just what they looked like. There is dignity here and plenty of it. I’m sorry it got by you. I do, hope, however that the other messages didn’t….or maybe they have? Watch my other videos, too….
This strikes me as being such a perverse assemblage of messages…The musical score sounds like a private liberal arts college recruitment film…The photos of the deceased are eerily like audition headshots…and the copy looks and reads like a high school assembly “say no to drugs” presentation… I happened upon the video out of empathetic support, but I am left to wonder WHAT is truly trying to be said, and to whom? Wouldn’t dignity better serve the memory of those lives lost?
The Bridgeway has had several wrongful death/medical malpractice lawsuits against them recently. Attorney Skip Simpson, from Frisco, TX, has represented plaintiffs in these cases. Thank you for your comment and input. It is greatly appreciated.

.They make these hospitals out to be so cheerful and happy.I was in the bridgeway hospital in Little Rock and it was a living hell. You never want to go there.Fair warning.
