Vulture Peak take 2
Juanchin, Kix & company are set for the hike up to Vulture Peak. The peak which protrudes at an elevation of 3658ft is Wickenburg’s iconic landmark. Carri Catalano from Carpentersville, IL and family, make a short appearance in this video. Greetings to the Catalanos from Az!! Word is, the peak got its name from Henry Wickenburg whom in 1863 happened to spot buzzards flying over this barren volcanic tuff of a rock. Oh yeah, He also discovered GOLD!!
